Insurance Brokers and Agents of Sacramento (IBA Sacramento) will host their 36th annual “Big I” Day, scheduled for October 6, 2015 at the Sacramento Convention Center, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Joining the line-up of expert speakers is AEU's Jack Martone, former U.S. Department of Labor Chief of Financial Management and Insurance and Acting Director of the Division of Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation.
Jack will be teaching a 3-hour abridged version of his 8-hour continuing education course - USL&H Workers’ Compensation Workshop. The class is an introduction to the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and touches on subjects such as coverage, issues of situs and status, rating codes, compensation benefits payable under the Act and more.
“Jack’s course is extremely valuable to anyone with current business in or interested in increasing their business in the maritime industry,” said Mike Lapeyrouse, President and CEO of AEU.
