The American Equity Underwriters, Inc., the leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance for waterfront employers, announces the promotion of six employees to the newly-created position of managing director: Michael Adams, Sandra Parker, Rob Stuardi, Teresa Rowell, Tim Finnorn, and Winchester Thurber.

As managing directors, all six have expanded underwriting authority, as well as direct responsibility for underwriting performance. They also ensure that claims management, loss control and other services provided to members and brokers meet AEU’s high standards of performance.
