The American Equity Underwriters, Inc. (AEU), the leading provider of workers' compensation insurance for waterfront employers and program administrator for the American Longshore Mutual Association (ALMA), announces two changes to the company's leadership team. 

Tim Dunne, who has served as AEU's Senior Vice President, Director of Information Systems since 2012, has accepted the position of Managing Director. In his new role, Dunne will work directly with insurance brokers and ALMA members to ensure the highest level of service. 

"Tim has a keen understanding of what it takes to serve our customers," said Winchester Thurber, Chief Commercial Officer of AEU. "His operational mindset and commitment to our mission make Tim the perfect addition to our team of Managing Directors." 

Bo Gunn, a Senior Software Engineer at AEU since 2015, will succeed Tim as Senior Vice President, Director of Information Systems. In his new role, Gunn will drive technology initiatives for the company and oversee the development of its operational systems.
