AEU’s Safety Committee is comprised of brokers who conduct business with AEU and safety professionals who are current clients. The Safety Committee addresses loss control/safety issues important to shipyards, stevedores, marine terminal operators and marine construction companies, as well as many state act loss control exposures. The Safety Committee meets twice yearly and provides an excellent opportunity to learn how successful maritime firms drive down workers’ compensation costs.
AEU’s Special Emphasis Program on reducing strain and fall injuries initiated in 2004 has been successful in reducing both the cost of these injuries as well as the frequency of reported cases.
AEU’s Mock OSHA Inspection Program is conducted by our experienced loss control team at your facility. We identify potential violations and advise how to correct them and avoid fines prior to the OSHA inspection.
